This Privacy Policy explains how Slovian Inc (“Slovian,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with our websites (including slovian.io and heybe.dev) and our Heybe software products and services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are

2. What we collect
- Account information: name, email address, and credentials you provide when you create or manage an account.
- Billing information: subscription plan, billing email, payment status, and invoices. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers or CVV; Stripe handles card data under PCI DSS.
- Support communications: emails and messages you send to hello@, privacy@, legal@, or other support channels, and related metadata.
- Product usage: limited technical and usage data needed to operate and improve the Services (for example feature flags, error diagnostics, and subscription entitlements). Where the product runs locally on your device, local content stays on your device unless you choose to send it to a model provider or to us.
- Website logs: standard request data (IP address, user agent, URL, timestamps) processed by our hosting provider to deliver and protect the site.
3. Purposes
- Provide, secure, and maintain the Services and accounts.
- Process subscriptions, invoices, refunds, and fraud prevention.
- Respond to support, privacy, and legal requests.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Improve product reliability and documentation (aggregated or de-identified where practical).
4. Processors and AI providers
- Stripe — payment processing and billing.
- Cloudflare — hosting, DNS, CDN, and security for our websites and Workers.
- AI model providers: If you use bring-your-own-key (BYOK), your prompts and related data are sent to the provider you configure under that provider’s terms; we do not operate those models. If we offer a company-hosted or proxied model option, we will disclose that in-product and process data only as needed to deliver that feature.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Retention
We retain account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Support emails are retained as needed to resolve requests and maintain records. You may request deletion of account data subject to legal retention requirements (see Rights below).
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures appropriate to the nature of the data, including HTTPS, access controls, and reliance on reputable processors (Stripe, Cloudflare). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@slovian.io. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
8. California (CCPA/CPRA) notice
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly understood under the CCPA/CPRA. To submit a request, contact privacy@slovian.io. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
9. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. International transfers
We are based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our processors operate.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be posted on this page.
